Invest In Blackpool is a Blackpool Council initiative that offers grant and loan assistance to local businesses and investors aiming to bring forward their investment plans, either to sustain and grow their businesses, or to modernise and bring back into use commercial and industrial property.
They work in partnership with Business Link, in particular the Access to Finance service, which offers free advice and support from specialist advisors to help businesses and entrepreneurs understand the options available for accessing the finance required for business start-up, development and expansion.

Guardian Angels - Entrepeneurs Network
The Guardian Angel Entrepreneurs Network was established 22 years ago to assist local Private Sector companies in developing and achieving greater success by providing them access to highly experienced, knowledgeable and skilled business professionals – called Guardians.
It's aim is to assist local companies by offering FREE business support via our network of expereinced business mentors.

Winning Pitch - Skills for Success
There comes a point in any small business where it needs something extra to help it move on to another level of growth.
BlackpoolUnlimited.com works in partnership with Winning Pitch - a team of people who can help established businesses that have moved beyond the start-up phase but have the desire and capability to grow.
Their programme is called Skills For Success and comprises two different approaches:
- A series of six “Accelerator” programmes delivered by Winning Pitch and aimed at helping businesses to greatly improve their ability to find, win and keep customers. Blackpool Council commissioned a series of pilot programmes last year involving 30 local companies and the results were very positive.
The programme is available to businesses from a wide range of sectors, though small operators in the tourism sector that are dependent on the visitor economy will be referred initially to the Tourism Support Bureau. All Accelerator workshops will be held in the New Blackpool Enterprise Centre.
