Aimed at frontline staff in the hospitality, leisure, tourism and retail sectors in Blackpool. This breakthrough programme will significantly improve the visitor experience in the resort.
Welcome to Blackpool is a FREE short course designed to provide a world-class customer experience together with in depth information on Blackpool - past, present and future.
It has been developed by Regional Tourist Board Partnerships Ltd on behalf of Blackpool Council, BlackpoolUnlimited.com and Lancashire & Blackpool Tourist Board and forms part of the nationally-accredited Welcome To Excellence series of training programmes.
The focal point of the workshops – which are being offered FREE of charge to relevant businesses– is a 60-page participant manual containing detailed information on Blackpool past, present and future, and illustrated with stunning photos of the resort.

A number of leading companies and organisations have already signed up to the programme including Pleasure Beach Resort, Leisure Parcs, Blackpool International Airport, Blackpool Zoo, Blackpool & The Fylde College, Sandcastle Waterpark, The Sealife Centre, Blackpool Council and dozens of hotels and restaurants.

Everyone who successfully completes the training receives a participant guide, badge and certificate.
